They mentioned on the radio this morning that today is National Letter Writing Day.

I am a huge fan of writing letters. I can remember being in the 5th grade and sending a friend - who lived only two blocks away - regular letters. I had a penpal in Nova Scotia once; her name was Meredith and we connected through Chickadee magazine. I still have all the postcards she sent me. 

I don't expect I'll ever get bored of sending things in the mail. Paper, stamps, time - what a collection of fantastic things.
